Well, sincerely, for a 64mb rom, requiring 122mb is a bit too much, true. On my private build, with a 64mb rom it goes up to 80-82mb, which is something I think is quite normal, but requiring about "rom size"+60mb is a bit too much... I checked where it comes from, but seems a bit hard to fix on current official versions :P

Yeah but emus still under development as early as all the DS emulators are always chew a ton of resources for relatively tiny return
At least that's what I have always seen.

At least that's what I have always seen.
It's not MY emu, it's just a Desmume version based on the first code released by yopyop: basically what you can see in my blog (link on my signature). Check the screenshots, and then tell me if it's advanced or not :P

Well that is your personal little version....I meant the official DeSmuME releases. Those are still not very advanced....I mean with 3D and compatibility. Your version is probably the most advanced emu anyone has.

Ok so its because the emulator is incomplete is why the huge memory leak is happening correct?

Well something which was reported as a memory leak, but actually is not one.
It's just the regular heavy resource usage of an emu still under development.
