It always crash when i try to execute some game...

The blue screen of death appears and then along with others useless informations comes this :

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

***STOP: 0X0000000A (0X80EEF25A, 0X00000002, 0X00000000, 0X806EF2D6)

----
I´ve tried to run, but no success at all :
0556 - Megaman ZX (U)
0197 - Dragon Ball Z - Supersonic Warriors 2 (U)
0762 - Ryuusei no RockMan - Pegasus (J)
0304 - Dragon Ball Z - Supersonic Warriors 2 (E)

After testing these 4 games, I just gave up, because i had to restart my computer each time after crashing.

Windows XP Professional SP2
Abit KV7
AMD Athlon XP +2400
1.5GB DDR 400
NVIDIA GeForce 6200
DirectX 9.0c

It seems more of a RAM problem then desmume.
Try running memtest+ and see if it find any errors....

I already tried to use Memtest86+, it didn´t found any error.
I´ve runned all those 10 tests.

The funny thing is that it´s also happening with Ideas 1.0.1.5 this time around.
it´s the same error with the same numbers.

Now i don´t have a ******n* idea of what might be happening.

So if anyone there could help, i would apreciate it.

This really seems a hardware problem.
Do you get BSOD when play other games/emus?

Other games/emus run just fine.
I was starting to wonder that maybe another program is getting into conflict with the emulator.
I´ve already tried to disable the firewall, anti-virus, etc... but i got nothing.
Any clues over there?

---------------------------

I just found something from the microsoft website :

Troubleshooting a Stop 0x0000000A error in Windows XP :
INTRODUCTION
You may receive the following Stop error message during or after the installation of Microsoft Windows XP:

Stop: 0x0000000A (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL*** Address x has base at x - filename

The parameters refer to the specific issues that are involved:
• Parameter 1 - An address that was referenced incorrectly.
• Parameter 2 - An IRQL that was required to access the memory.
• Parameter 3 - The type of access, where 0 is a read operation and 1 is a write operation.
• Parameter 4 - The address of the instruction that referenced memory in parameter 1.

MORE INFORMATION
Stop error 0x0000000A (Stop 0x0A) indicates that there was an attempt in kernel mode to touch pageable memory at too high a process internal request level (IRQL). Typically, this error occurs when a driver uses an incorrect memory address.
Other possible causes of this error are an incompatible device driver, a general hardware problem, and incompatible software.

And i also found this :

Stop error message in Windows XP with Service Pack 2:
"STOP 0x0000001a: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT" or "STOP 0x0000000a: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

SYMPTOMS
A computer that is running Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 crashes. You may receive one of the following Stop error messages:

Error message 1
STOP 0x0000001a: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

Error message 2
STOP 0x0000000a: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

CAUSE
This problem occurs because of a race condition in the memory manager.

I just don´t know if something has to do with the other.

Usually BSOD's mean your Windows installation is really messed up.....or at least going down the tubes slowly.

Seems like you have a really big configuration mess in your PC config, nothing to do with desmume.

I really don´t make any idea of what is causing this,
since it´s also happening with ideas now. If it starts happening with other programs i will let you know.

I already tried Mentest86+, and it went all trough those 10 tests more than once, and as far as i can tell it is not a Memory problem.

Some program or hardware is getting in conflict with the emulator.
it will be better if i wait for other releases.

Can you try other emus, like psx, dc or ps2 ones?
Maybe its a gfx related problem. Driver or hardware.

FIXED.
I had to reduce the clock from the CPU and Memory at the bios setting.

Athlon XP+2400, works at 2Ghz, now is working at 1.8Ghz
Memory Clock is 400Mhz, now is working at 266Mhz.

Though i don´t know what caused that.

Edit: Sorry for not explainning better, i was in a rush at the time.

lol overclocking your cpu is a bad thing to do, if you can, buy a new and more potent one like a core2duo.

Nop, i didn´t overclocked my cpu or memory.
Also it didn´t came overclocked when i bought it.
I have this computer way long ago.

I would say the culprit is the AthlonXP +2400,
I have it for more than 4 years.
(Ps: It´s also the only hardware i didn´t test/tried substituting for another)

But, I may be wrong once again.
So im better off looking at it a bit more before doing any judgement.

Oh, just in case people don´t know :
Athlon XP +2400 Works at 2Ghz
While Athlon XP +2200 Works at 1.8Ghz.

It's a list of all AMD processors and what their stock settings are. At least that's what it looked like at a quick glance...and I don't feel like loading the whole picture again.

I have seen that on wikipedia.
You mean something like this :
List of AMD Athlon microprocessors - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
List of AMD Athlon XP microprocessors - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
List of AMD Sempron microprocessors - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
