Well it would be nice...but I don't think so. Most of us should certainly be able to play a few more of our games propperly though. They will get better, no doubt about that, but it is wrong to expect prefection by the end of the year. Look at something like Project64...it's still in development and not everything works 100%...or at least it did not when I checked it out a while ago. Edit: Rockman there is no way one can say that an emulator which plays 2 games averagely is as good as an emulator that plays 8 games perfectly. By the simple fact of you choosing one emulator over another to play a certain game you are making a judgement. |

When it comes to speed, No$GBA definitely is the best for my computer. Ideas isn't slow, but it isn't exactly fast. Desmume used to be very slow, but not so much anymore. I would have to say No$gba for now, but the other two aren't bad. Here are my expecations: 1. I don't expect any of them to be a 100% compatible. 2. I don't expect any of them to have complete 3D support yet (or ever actually). 3. I DO expect them to have complete 2D support. 4. I DO expect completely 2D games to work at full speeds. And that's about it.

i doubt since i do believe they can make a fully working emulator as u have seen shash how he has worked on WIP and the screens a lovely plus with that in mind all the other emus like iDeaS will learn from them and implement them ,just...? About no$ , well he can do it but it will take a long time to do so like VBA from atleast July 2003 to October 2005, so people will do it but it will take time

Rockmanforte is right. Every Emulator has his own good and bad points. I am sure the programmers are doing their best. A better thing to discuss would be which Emulator is better for newbies. I mean easier in configuring and handling(Emulation aside). I have Ideas, No$GBA and DeSmuME on my computer, becuase every one is better in something then the other. BTW, I am too for closing or moving this thread. |

Heres my opinion. I've played both the latest builds with 5-10 games. I've found Desmume has a little better compatibility but no$gba to have a much more reliable in game speed. So they are both worthy emulators.

The argument was never whether one is worthy or not. Any emulator is or at the very least will be worthy. It's just that currently one emulator may be better than another and it is not wrong or discrediting to say so. |

Please stop repeating. ![]() It's not your decision to make for others. Some people cannot afford to buy Nintendo DS. Please leave some people alone, that's all. It's annoying, you know. ![]() ![]() Quote:
Precisely!

No, that's not true. Do not believe any of this. What everyone should know about illegal roms are right here. I am just telling you and only you because you are annoying and it's repeating. ![]() Start submitting your desmume or no$gba right here, or just discuss! Nothing's else like "why you should buy a Nintendo DS lite", blah blah. That's annoying, yes.

don't worry, me too. i just use emulators to hack (codehacking: codebreaker, action replay etc...) :P edit: oh and rockmanforte, i don't give a damn about what you think about me, i just hate ppl who don't support nothing. if you download roms, that's alright, but buy a damn nds at least. |
