Talking Desmume WIP releases!

Quote:
These builds are to be considered work-in-progress builds and do not represent any official releases. These builds are compiled using Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 with all optimizations enabled and buffer overrun checks disabled. Use of these builds is at your own risk and are provided for intended use by testers only. If you do not feel comfortable with test software on your computer, please do not use these WIP builds. Report all bugs to the official DeSmuME forums linked from the official page. Please do not ask when new WIP builds will be available or when XX game will be supported.
Desmume WIP release

Well know everybody can have a taste of whats being going.
Amponzi made some WIP releases of Desmume.

Noticed that some games may work better or worst, faster or slower.
Go to the desmume forum for doubts, game testing or bug reporting.

There are definitely noticeable fixes in this build over v0.5.0. Check out Yoshi's Island DS - now the top screen is displayed correctly. The game only has a few very minor problems now.

Edit: There are also a bunch of new options, like increasing Window size and orientation.

Actually, this was rather easy to fix, there's quite a lot of new stuff that was a lot harder to get right. The pseudo-complete list should be in the CVS Changelog, if anyone's interested

Yes, I'm interested.

EDIT: I find that there is something wrong with Megaman ZX. After the video intro which he transformed into Megaman X and finally I was ready to fight the enemies but it crashed right away.

FF3 is a 3d game, and currently desmume doesnt support it.

That's not shash works in this development. It was from desmume.sourceforge.net community built on miniBB

Shash's WIP is not released yet. He is stil work on 3-D and something else which I forgot. This is not his work...yet.

January 27, 2007 Build
- Compiled without SSE2 Extensions (negligible difference)
- Slight CPU fixes
- Includes Save State support (Requires zlib1.dll - see below)
That one which released Desmume wip at amponzi - DeSmuME Unofficial WIP Builds Site so it is not SHASH's work, ok ? So please read the link more careful.

There seems to be a problem with NON-SSE2 processors.
If you have a Atlhon XP or Pentium 3, its not likely you´re going to get good performance anyway.
Also this WIP wasnt build by me, but instead AMPonzi did it, as the dev team agreed with it, and only with these.

There's quite a few of my code and time in there: who do you think fixed missing backgrounds bug from 0.5.0? And more stuff that'll you'll see in the next release: that I couldn't contribute for 0.5.0 doesn't mean I'll never will.

So, please, could YOU read carefully ?

Wow, I totally forgot about joy2key. Okay, I am downloading it now!

EDIT: I hate this:

I want my psx buttons to do this:

Square = Jump
X = shooting
Triangle = Dash (I think that one)
Circle = for what ?

That's what I want.

I don't know which numbers matches above.

I only found one Button2 = S is Square. HELP!
