Are DeSmuME.com and ngemu.com on the same track?

How come ngemu is posting about a "Normatt's" blog and redirects to it with ver 3.5 WIP and DeSmuME.com is with a 4.0 ver already out? Are those two different developers who use the open source by yopyop or is one of them unupdated? (not necessarily the blog as DeSmuME.com doesn't even have a 3.5 ver which is even more confusing, considering they have a 4.0 one)

EDIT:
Now I'm even more confused, there's a 3.6 version of Normatt's DeSmuME at DeSmuME.com , but according to the blog 3.5 is WIP... How is that possible? Are the versions going backwards? :S

desmume 0.4 from desmume.com wasn't released by Normatt, I think. 0.3.4 version from desmume.com is the 0.3.5 WIP from Normatt's blog. But I'm not very sure, I will find more information.

The 4.0 version is a different one by a different developer, it's actual name is Ndesmume.

Whats new in nDeSmuME: Qoting NDS from GBArl: "I have improved of the bug in the version the 0.3.3 stable of the DeSmuMe having carried it to the version 0.3.6 (improvements brings to you from version 0.3.4 obviously not are here). the Rockman ZX rom is cool to play but everyone is so piss off because it cant save the states the developer of DesMuMe is take time to finish the emulator be patient guys

I still don't get it.
NDeSmuME is version 0.4.0.
DeSmuME is version 0.3.6.
Why are we waiting for 0.3.5, again?

Because it's the next version to be released, with improved features over 0.4.0 and 0.3.6. It's just that the version numbers are a bit f* up. Maybe we'll have to rename it to 0.3.7 or whatever, to make it clear. I'll ask people about it when release is ready.

Desmume.com doesn't have 5.0 neither as their release or Normatt's. Three completely different devs, or did they just abandon the website?

its not 5.0.... its 0.5.0
and this version should be considered the official one. Thats it.
