i'm not sure if DeSmuME utilizes multi-core processors. maybe it's changed, but i seem to remember it only utilizes single core

0.9.5 will use additional cores for a few fps speedup. Presently it uses around 60% cpu on a dual core, with the extra core being used for OSD, resizing filters, and final color conversion.

Heard there's a guide on how to compile DeSmuMe. Let me Google it for you.

You can also give the Orleans' builds a try.

hm...Desmume seems to have the same boss-crash-issues as No$GBA...is there something similar to the EX0-5 options (from No$Zoomer) for Desmume?

That problem (mario & luigi boss crash) does not exist on desmume 0.9.4 (official). It does exist on some later unofficial version (or at least existed for me when trying it). I'm not sure about the latest svn build or anything.

For me it crashed at the beginning of the first boss fight (being Bowser, not fighting against him!)...
I guess it's the same issue as described here: Mario & Luigi RPG3 (eng v.) Known issues and solutions

Hmpf...I just tried out Desmume 0.4.0 (or rather...NDesmume?), but...what iiiis that? There are no options to make and the game doesn't execute (only black screen)...that seems to me to be miles behind the current revs...or did I get something wrong there...?

Well, I dont really understand. I dont know much about this game but i just played through some boss battle which used to crash in 0.9.4 where a big bowser is punching a castle. I had a savestate ready just before the battle begins because I spent a lot of time fixing this game in this very spot.

Also regarding 0.40, why would you use a years old desmume?

Whoops, I just see that it was 0.9.4 that grfla2 was suggesting to use, not 0.4.0 ^^
Hm, but where do I get 0.9.4? Didn't see it on Desmume.com *shrug*

Ah, ok, thanks!
Anyway, my (battery) saved game doesn't appear (only "New Game"). I copied the file into the Desmume folder...or is that the wrong place?
