DeSmuMe 0.9.4 dev+ Output: Failed initializing wpcap.dll and PacketGetReadEvent stuff
I decided to try and find out stuffs about the SoftRasterizer. This is just something that I'm curious about. My sixth senses usually gets me whenever I see something that had failed to initialize, such as this. I ran the dev executable file (desmume_dev.exe), and found about about this: Failed initializing wpcap.dll - softAP support disabled Thinking that might mess something, I went to Google, searched for it, and noticed that wpcap.dll may have some influence with performances. Downloading that from DLL-files.com, I noticed that wpcap.dll still needs packet.dll. Another search gives me that packet.dll doesn't contain PacketGetReadEvent (which, I think it is an function of some sort...). In other words, it's an error, yet working DeSmuMe. Another searching around, and it gives me that this PacketGetReadEvent error will occur when you're not an administrator. But that sort of error occurs elsewhere, which isn't located in the emulation world. Anyone who has knowledge of fixing this error, please post here. Thank you. EDIT: I have no clue to what this quote means: Quote:

You can safely ignore that error, it's due to the preliminar support for wifi, but it won't get DS wifi emulation working on desmume, neither will make your emulator run slower, atleast on current state.

no, you cannot. its just a gibberish word that means nothing since it doesnt work yet. Frankly, I leave this error message in here because it gives me such thrills to see very bored people with nothing better to do obsessing over it. In fact I have been considering adding other fake error messages.
