Performance question
how can I find out whether I am running the emulator at full speed? Is there any counter that I can enable to see if I am getting slowdowns or whatnot?

View -> Display FPS should be 60 FPS on both (3D one can be zero if the 3D core is not being one).

Just rely on the first counter. It's the general framerate. The second one is 3D average framerate or something in that line... with some games it can be 30 instead of 60.
