Automatic CVS
I think we should have an automatic cvs builder java program on some web page that will automatically make a binary of the latest cvs; just like on pearpc.net. If that makes caustik and kingofc uneasy, maybe it could require a password given from caustik himself after the person asks him if they can have it. Actually, I dont think that's caustik's responsibility, now that I think of it, but maybe something like that to keep control. It would make a lot of people happy. I'm too retarded to figure out what you guys mean by having to find the latest source of openxdk and cxbe to compile cxbx. It makes no sense to me (except that cxbe is what allows cxbx to run an xbe(converting it to exe)). It's too much of a pain...
A major reason I think this is a good idea is because there has not been a real official update since April 7th. What do you guys think?

Hmm... maybe they will listen to you. No one EVER takes me seriously (except shadow_tj and wile). Notice how when I start posting in threads people get quiet and really cool threads die off.
i.e. progress with halo

hmm i dont think this should be available to the public...
if people start to download CVS build, we'll get alot of users asking why this and that dont work in that version. NGEmu made it very clear... We dont support CVS builds as they are not official. Computertrendy, no offense, if you can't compile it then you shouldnt be touching it. In the end, its up to caustik and kingofc to decide on that but i dont think NGEmu will give any support for those builds... |

there are two ways. first... yust make it not public and people are not shouting why this or that is not working.
or second. new bugs are found and reported. ok we don`t wanne see lots of threads about why is this game not working or why can`t i play games. but the idea is lets make it public and see what happens. when more peiple are interested the more new stuff is comming up. its not all about development. its about ideas and make your ideas work out. i also started like a newby we all did. so why keep it a secret how to do it its about teaching a other how to do and and prehaps in the future you can learn of them... greetz to ya all. shadow_tj |
