Red face BattleblocksX Emulates....


Im not sure if this has ben noticed before, but battleblocksX emulates, the screenshot was taken with Cxbx 0.8.0
EDIT: You get a error while trying to play
Edit # 2: DoomX also starts to emulate

mmmm doesn`t read annyone read the forum from the beginning..
doomx was already running.
XSensX also working.. also playable. nice to play donky kong country on a xbox emulator.

Do the int 3's effect how other games work, shadow_tj?

Wait a minute!!! I tried ALL of those apps you were talking about in your last screenshots post and I didn't get any of them to work, not even xSnesx, and doom does the same thing to me. Maybe I compiled the src wrong.

EDIT: The version of XSnesX uses XDK version 5028

the int 3 line is a programmed breakpoint..
when the game runs then he find that breakpoint and crashes into debug mode.
so when you don`t remark this int 3 line.. games like turok won`t work. and cxbx will give you a error msg "breakpoint exception".

Hi,

I'm the author of BattleBlocksX. I could try to get it to work in Cxbx if you guys are interested. I was 50% done with online multiplayer when a non related project sparked my interest. I didn't get a whole lot of feedback on bbx so I wasn't sure if anyone even played it.

I think caustik would much rather you help cxbx, becuse you could really help with XDK support.
Anyway, what xdk is battleblocksx made with?

BattleBlocksX was made with XDK 4627 because from what I understand, anything newer requires VS .NET and I wanted to use VS 6.0.

I haved to agree with you wile, but I dont want to discourage him for making it cxbx compatible though. Because all he really has to do is get the latest OpenXDK src...
