bochs executes

I discovered this many months ago, but never got a chance to say it until now. I noticed that bochs executes. It's not 100% functional. I tried this on the latest binary release not the CVS build. Later I'll give it a try and see what happens. If this works on the lates CVS, just think of the power!!!!

As cool as this is, in terms of how much CXBX has progressed, the wisdom of running an X86 emulator within an Xbox emulator on X86 hardware has to be questioned. Especially as Bochs already has a windows port.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that!!! I was going to report gnuboy as well and a few others when I get a chance, but I have some bad news. Bochs nor gnuboy executes on Cxbx 0.8.0

But I'm sure we can fix that soon. Thanx for mentioning that though!

What about bochs on the box itself? Can you get that to work with a little tweaking?

bochs on the actual xbox? if that is what you are talking about ComputerTrendy, it has already been ported.

Yeah, you can emulate windows or DOS on the xbox if you want with this port. I'm just curious, has anyone ever tried knoppix on the xbox
