Extracting games

This has probably already been answered, but i couldnt find the thread. Does anyone know step by step how to use the xbox to put a game on your pc hard drive? id appreciate anyones help or a link. thanks

Cant you just install a HD and then use that and take it out and hook it up to your PC?

no, no... I think he is just wanting to rip a game so he can try it in CXBX. Although if he owns the game it isn't exactly illegal, I don't think it is something that should be handled here either. As it could be considered piracy.

No, its difficult, the drive needs to be "blessed" and all this other stuff b4 the xbeast will even start to accept it. Im not sure if putting an xbox hdd in your computer will do anything.

a PC won't read FATX , it would have to be formatted with NTFS or Fat/32
