Re: Halo Maps

yeah. Then you can edit them to get certain things left out, or to make it so there's... 8 tanks, warthogs, ghosts, etc... they even got the covnent dropships loading up -- but not driveable.

Re: Halo Maps

I dunno if im the most gullible person ever, but is this real?

http://huge.dyndns.org/halo/flamethrower.html

It sounds too good to be true, but can anyone confirm it?

Re: Halo Maps

I can confirm it. It's 100% real
I was there when we found that it worked... I'll post a screenshot of the IRC chat.

some new developments are that they've found the beginnings of the files inside the map archive, meaning that we know where all the files start, but not where they end... this is a good thing, however, because development is speeding by VERY fast.

A link to ~ 300MB of pics... look for flamethrower and gravity rifle... http://media.7708.net/pics/

Re: Halo Maps

the actual map data hasn't been isolized yet. I doubt that the map is more than 10MBs. The sounds, textures, weapons, and models are are in the maps as well, so... yeah...
