This is for you Caustik: DIfferent XDK Code

I would like to know what's different about each xdk version. Say, you wanted to emulate Halo (3xxx) What would make it different from other, newer devkits? What do you have to do to make sure that cxbx supports another version? And how fast would progress of the other code go once Tourok was pretty much taken care of?

I just hope it's something simple and doesnt take 3 weeks just for one devkit.
