when is the game error implemented.

i have some error codes with some games.
like need for speed 2 hot persuit has a errorkeTimmer not implemented yet.

ok its a know item. but there can be more

I'm working on that now... but can someone PLEASE give me a list of the needed fields so submit the errors.... other then game name and xdk version (duh)

I agree... i just hope he drops by this forum and give me the information... its pointless for me to implement in the code and GUI without me knowing what he actuly needs

both log files (in full) are usually needed to track down a bug. this is because a glitch early on can manifest itself in weird ways later on during execution (game stores a pointer it expects to be valid, then uses it 30 seconds later, etc).

the problem is that these logs get really huge, the best thing is to zip them up if they are large.

Just a note, 7-Zip can compress text files down to less than 1/10th of what Zip can. For example, I have one log file 9,628 KB in size. It compresses to 104 KB in Zip format, and 10 KB in 7z format.

hmmm... i'll have a look at that... i also need to find myself a place to store those logs in zipped form... any ideas where i can get quite a bit of FTP storage... for free?

I've just made an Windows Update, my system is now up to date (W2k,SP4). But I can not run your program, i get the following message: $systemroot$\v1.1.4322\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded
I have a folder which is calles v1.0.3705 and there is the missing file, but renaming the 0.3705 to 1.4322 does not help What can I do?

Pro-logic, in answer to your question, goto http://www.thefreesite.com/Free_Web_Space and choose one from the list, there must be one thats right...

EDIT: If you think the address is to stupid, then goto www.dot.tk then you get a redirect service with www.whateveryouwant.tk

lates news from me... got the categories working... i'll add the categories to the games in the DB... and i still need to get the add game screen to accept the categories

Perhaps you could implement something in the program that will track updates from your site, considering that your site is changed for this. If there is anything new to add, you could make them download the new version, or have it update and replace itself.

By the way, whenever i try to load your program, I get a missing library error that says "cannot find mscoree.dll". Would this be the .net framework?

hmmmm.... most proably.... as somebody said above the windows update feature doesn't work vert well... so you might want to download it manualy and install it... http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...6/dotnetfx.exe

and as i said above as well my program has a MOTD section at the bottom that gets the lates news about the current version etc.

Yeh, don't worry...
due to lack of time i don't have a lot of time to modify the games in the DB with the appropraite categories so i'll make a modify games module in my next verion
