Re: XDK Tracker
both log files (in full) are usually needed to track down a bug. this is because a glitch early on can manifest itself in weird ways later on during execution (game stores a pointer it expects to be valid, then uses it 30 seconds later, etc). the problem is that these logs get really huge, the best thing is to zip them up if they are large. caustik |

Re: XDK Tracker
Just a note, 7-Zip can compress text files down to less than 1/10th of what Zip can. For example, I have one log file 9,628 KB in size. It compresses to 104 KB in Zip format, and 10 KB in 7z format.

Re: XDK Tracker
Pro-logic, in answer to your question, goto http://www.thefreesite.com/Free_Web_Space and choose one from the list, there must be one thats right... EDIT: If you think the address is to stupid, then goto www.dot.tk then you get a redirect service with www.whateveryouwant.tk

Re: XDK Tracker
Perhaps you could implement something in the program that will track updates from your site, considering that your site is changed for this. If there is anything new to add, you could make them download the new version, or have it update and replace itself. By the way, whenever i try to load your program, I get a missing library error that says "cannot find mscoree.dll". Would this be the .net framework?

Re: XDK Tracker
hmmmm.... most proably.... as somebody said above the windows update feature doesn't work vert well... so you might want to download it manualy and install it... http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...6/dotnetfx.exe and as i said above as well my program has a MOTD section at the bottom that gets the lates news about the current version etc. |
