supported display adapters

i`m wondeting how it looks like using cxbx but i got a error msg in the debug window when i start emulation X-Marbles.

its the folowing msg:
iDirect3D8:: Create Device failed ( Invalid Display settings ).

i can choose all kinds of settings for display only
my display adapter box shows only primary display adapter.

i`m using a NVidia Geforce 2 MX graphic adapter.
and on another computer a Intel82810E chipset.

Re: supported display adapters

Try removing the entire Cxbx registry key (careful: only delete cxbx or you could mess up your system). Sometimes this fixes the problem for some reason.

Re: supported display adapters

That happens to me when I have hardware video on without 32bit turned on. Try turning on 32bit or change to software video option. (If caustiks method doesn't work)
