Re: xdvdfs filesystem driver for windows

It would be highly illegal... It is not going to happen nor are you going to be able to read Xbox DVDs on your PC DVD-ROM anytime soon (at all).

Exclamation

Ok well what a hell micro$oft has some cuber advance tecknology for proteckting their xbox dvd. In September Play Station 3 will come out and xbox will find it's place on a dump. PS3 games will be probably better, cooler, longer, etc.. So what i recomend is to forget about playing xbox disks on pc and starting to research PS3 files. So we could make an emulator and play the games. After that nobody will need xbox and their games so they will convert them to pc; cose pc was, is and will be the best console.

Re: xdvdfs filesystem driver for windows

what a n00b answer. how can it come out in september when its eta has not even been established. In fact, the final specs haven't even been done yet! How can anyone document anythng about it? sony haven't even done that! and what even gives you the most remote Idea that sony are going to use standard DVD's? Given the ease for piracy on ps2 games, they'll probobaly do what sega done with there dreamcast (only a larger capacity).

I take it that was supposed to be a sarcastic reply.
However, since no one will buy xbox games without having an Xbox to play them on in the first place. Xbox emulation is quite easy. It is not at all difficult to pull the games off the Xbox to yuor PC HD to use on an Emu. Besides, Breaking the encryption on the xbox dvd's is MORE illegal than Piracy. the Security level is extremely high and could potentially cause you Government problems as my understanding is they use a similar method for encrypting top secret data.
I mean heck, Xbox prices are dropping to $149 USD in september, it's not like they are expensive.

Re: xdvdfs filesystem driver for windows

My parents dont want a console in the house because of my problem-causing peice of **** brother. He gets very, very addicted to games. Ah to be 18 and not have to deal with this stupid crap. If I had an xbox I would do it. But I'm outta luck.

Re: xdvdfs filesystem driver for windows

Hey come on people the consoles come and go xbox wouldn't be out on the market forever maybe till next year. So the smart thing to do right now is to sell your xbox (if you have one) and your xbox legal dvd's to other people now cose the longer you wait the cheaper it gets and you aren't going to keep your xbox forever would you?
