CXBX 0.7.7 runs slower??

Hi all!!
As u can see I'm new in here, and I'm very impressed about the development of this emu. Thanks Caustik!!
Well, I've tested bot 0.7.6 and 0.7.7 with the sprites demo. What did I get??

version 0.7.6 running at 50fps
version 0.7.7 running at 20fps

What is the reason of this frames falling???
Moreoves, in 0.7.6 X-marbles ran perfect, but in 0.7.7 I can't get it to work. :-(

Well, catch u later, and go on doing one of the best emulators on Earth, :-). Bye!

yes you are right, in 7.6 i've got ~20fps and
in 7.7 i've got ~15fps.

i think it's slow because of my geforce3 ti200..
i've got an athlonxp 1700+@2400MHz
and 512MB DDR400

what gfx card do you have?

Well, I have an Athlon 800Mhz with a Gf4 Ti 4200. I don't think it is a gfx card problem, surely it will be due to optimization or something similar.

Well, I have had more probs with .7.7, as in some of the stuff that worked (e.g GBA emu) now doesn't. also, has anyone got that vertices demo to work?

I never have got lights, vertices or matrices to work of any of the versions.

The slowdown could be from timing adjustments that were made (if you view PointSprites on xbox, the sprites are actually designed to move slowly). Also, if you have vsync turned on, the newer version is much more strict about hitting the vsync, which could slow it down quite a bit.
