Re: wow, since when a xbox emulator poped up from nowhere?

actually, i thing the X-Box core is easier to emulate cause its made by M$ and uses a windows Kernel. I think a game will be fully emulated before PCSX2 does anything....

Re: wow, since when a xbox emulator poped up from nowhere?

xbox requirement might be higher than ps2's, but then again, it is a custom made pc after all.

Actually, I'd think that Xbox SysReq would be lower due to the fact that it is a custom PC. It just uses a stripped down Win2000 core (which makes me think - when will there be an OS tailored to gamers, since thats pretty much what the xbox is)

Re: wow, since when a xbox emulator poped up from nowhere?

Uh See I myself would buy a PS2. But if your willing to wait a year. then wait for an emu sop you can play PS2 games on it then use your money to buy a PS3 or new Xbox when they come out ...

I've heard that the new version of windows (longhorn) is going to be tailored more closely along xbox lines (i.e. pop cd in play game no install needed)

just a rumor though

He's been working on it for a year, it's only recently that he's made it public.

It's only recently that people have taken notice. I've known about it for at least 8 months, it was around November last year. Found it while looking for an Xbox Pad to PC driver.
