better support for mouse ?
Was attempting to play x-marbles with the keyboard so then i mapped the analogue controls to my mouse. It kind of works bit it behaves like the anologue stick on an x-box, which is not really playable. In my opinion the mouse is one of the simplest/easiest controls to use .. specially for 1st person shooter games. It would be good if you could properly use the mouse for games ..
also in the controls section a picture of an x-box controller would also be cool :] keep up the good work |

Re: better support for mouse ?
I'm guessing that since the XBOX uses a controller it would be hard to setup a mouse working properly. It has analong joysticks and your comp only has 1 mouse. Controller settings would have to be completely game specific. I'm assuming a XBOX to PC USB converter would be the best to use, like thay have for PS and N64.

Re: better support for mouse ?
I think you're best off with the keyboard for X-Marbles. Mouse support could be improved (I could have more options on how you'd like the input mapped, etc), but this is not a high priority right this moment. Surely in the future you'll see some very nice input options.
I use my xbox controller with PC USB adapter, and it works terrific. I recommend this adapter for anybody who has an xbox controller and wants to toy with Cxbx (it is very cheap at codeunderground.com) caustik |

Re: better support for mouse ?
I thought the idea of an emulator was you didn't need the console or bits of its hardware ;p hehe just kidding. I think that games like 1st person shooters could benefit from a mouse :]
