VGS And patching probs.........

I Patched vgs 1.4.1 with 501xx newest patch that changes the loading screens to a cool psx logo and adds some game support internally but on some games like tomb raider 3 (pal) and the world is not enough (pal) there are some slow downs with speech and weapons firing.
I Contacted 501xx and his reply was:
Hello

My patch changed "tnkXfs.dat". (C:\Windows\Temp\tnkXfs.dat)
Therefore process speed becomes slow.
And I cannot repair it.
I am sorry that I cannot help you.

By the way i am not putting down 501xx's work here as the new patch and GUI Is way cool!!!
But is it possible to Use the patch and speed vgs up again?
