Ridge Racer Type 4 - Memory Card Problem

When I want to save to the memory card, the game freezes.
Anyone knows a solution or a patch for that problem?

No, the patch doesn't help and the games.txt file also.
Does anyone know how to patch it or know a patch for it or know the right settings to put in the games.txt file?
