Unhappy problem with NegCon in Gran Turismo!?

Ok, I'm playing Gran Turismo with bleem! because ePSXe has no support for NegCon... Dual Shock mode sucks!

but when I'm trying to buy any used car, once I'm in the list, it starts acting weird, as if it's pressing up all the time, so I can't select anything other than the first car!
Once I change to digital or analog controller, then it's fine.

Help?

ok i fixed it, after a ****load of experiments...

basically what happened was i mapped auto-centered axes of my joystick to L, I, and II axes. These are actually analog buttons, so when the axes on my joystick are centered, they appear as half pressed to the game. Dang tricky isn't it!
For some reason re-mapping them to blank does not fix it. I had to remap all three to the throttle, which I could move to one side all the time, so the buttons appear not pressed.

Well it was worth the effort, I can play GT properly now, as opposed to using Dual Shock mode.
