Unhappy Capcom Vs SNK 2 Freezes!!!


PLEASE HELP ME!!

I finally got Chankast to start and when i get to the character selection screen it makes my whole computer freeze!

By the way i see alot of polygons, even in the words whats wrong?

My specs are: AMD Athlon XP 3000+ (2.16Ghz)
512mb DDR SDRAM memory
Integrated Sound Card (Dont know much about it)
Integrated Video Card 64mb nVidia brand
160gb Ultra DMA HDD
Thats about all i know oh and im also running the latest Chankast version 0.25a

The last 2 specs are pretty bad i know it wasnt made.

Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated!

could be 2 reasons
1st what exactly is your graphic card cuz maybe it isnt suported
2nd your image could have a problem .make one again

you can't just "make" Dreamcast images. If you already have a CDR copy, it'll work the same no matter how many times you make images of it, and you can't make images out of originals (or at least, not as simply as with any other game).

The integrated video MIGHT crash the emu, but if its a nVidia one, it should be at least on the level of a geforce 4 mx, which can run Chankast fine (albeit a bit slow).

That game might be not working at all in Chankast anyway.

That game IS supported in chankast
I say this 'cause I have it.
maybe his problem is with the sound.
try decreasing sound hardware acceleration on dxdiag that helped me with the sound crashes.

Sounds like either your integrated video memory, or your emulator settings. Make sure you have Capcom Hack enabled, and also, don't set the task priority and higher than normal. I would also recommedn a video upgrade as soon as possible.
