Sonic adventure 2 shadows on Chankast

Okay, so I got the protection fix patch and everything, the crash problem is gone, but I can't see any shadows, thus I can't beat King Boom boo. I tried multyple video settings to no avail. Any help here?

this is one of the games u sould put aside till the next releases
soul calibur dead or alive have no shadows to for me guess its not 100 %
compatible yet but we should be very greatfull that those games even work with no other problems and they have sound
