Wierd "rainbow coloured" textures in Soul Calibur!

I'm using Chankast 0.25. See the screenshots to see my problem. I've been playing that game almost every day when suddenly (starting today!) this kind of corrupt graphics came out of nowhere! I tried installing all sort of graphic drivers (Cataylst, Omega Drivers for my Radeon 9000 128 DDRAM card), motherboatd drivers ( Abit NF7 - based on Nvidia NForce2 chip), switching depth colour and resolutions. I tried EVERYTHING! Just like I have mantioned Chankast worked for me FLAWLESSLY... until today . It seems that only 3d model textures get "rainbowed", all other 2d graphics are displayed correctly (including bios, sega logo displayed before actual game is run). Please help!!

i have a friend that had the same prob and he didn't resolve it before reinstalling windows because hz thaught that his prob came from win cause i think too that when you have prob like that your windows version is surely corrupted and a reinstallation is needed i recomand you to reinstall it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happens only with Chankast as it seems, so maybe a fresh install of it (delete it and install/unpack it again) maybe get rid of that.
If not maybe it's your 9000.
I noticed myself once (i have a 9600Pro EZ) about strange colour and geometry artifacts coming from overclocking then overheating card. Take a look at it (physically), check the heat, then stress it with some benchmark tools like Aquamark or Codename Creatures.
If the 9000 still runs fine, do the OS reinstall.
Good luck!

Lol nice rainbow anyway i got scared when I turned chankast and there were once color textures of the background, on NFS:U totally blurred everything, first thought was that because ofoverlocking my GFX card and something has burned or so, but the reason that everything looked like that was: force low mipmap enabled

Hmm... This could help... But where can I disable that option?? I'm running on the newest Radeon Omega Drivers (I NEVER overclocked my card, so I guess that has to be low mipmap case).

Problem is that mine GFX Card is a nVidia one... so I don't know if there or where is that option in ATIs...

You're right, unfortunatley "force low mipmap lvl" isn't the problem in my Radeon card . I used Rage3d Overclocker and high mipmap lvl is on by default. I changed EVERY option in that prog and even all the presets for games and it still happens . Maybe it is not a graphic card broblem? Any suggestions? Anyone?

It's cool you solve your problem. BTW it would be worth it to try different drivers, to which are the best. I'm going to do so as soon as I got time
