dynamite cop a game, a problem

WHEN I START DYNAITE COP THE GAME REQUIRED A MEMORY CARD,i select the port b(empty),but the game doesn't work anymore,if i would play i must select unassigned,and i can't save nothing in the game! help!

1. Load the emu without any game
2. Go to mem cards menu in the bios
3. Format the memory card (Even if there is none)
4. Quit chankast
5. Open Chankast, load the game and you're home free

i have say that the port b is empty,free,formatted!
