if you were playing DOA2 and you got xxxx/30fps, that's the reason why it seems slow. DOA2 ran at 60fps on the DC... on your computer Chankast is only running half of that, even though your computer might be capable of more. It's difficult to explain, but try overclocking the CPU until the number on the right is 60, that might help.

Performance? Nah, at 800x600 it runs exactly the same as at 1024x768.

edit: Riskbreaker.. good idea.. I tried it and got a 5FPS performance boost. Nice. Now if only they would allow the emu to push for 60fps ingame while running at 100 CPU.. the performance gain would be quite significant I think.

Remember people, OCing will only have a benefit when in a fight, when the emu forces 30fps. The menu already runs at 60 for some reason..

Overclocking SH4 improve my gamespeed too .

Overclocking doesn't seem to works with DOA2 in 0.2a but it works in 0.25 .

But you have to find the sweet spot of your o/c level , somegame lower the clock = Run faster , somegame higher the clock = faster And somegame (Re:Veronica) changing the SH4 clock = Emulator stop working

For me , setting SH4 @158 i can get ~28 in battle mode (33-35 in intro mode) @AA8X/AF8X , which is nice

Gundam DX in 1280*1024 is just... incredible. It feels like I'm playing a completely new game.

Hmm, really good DoA2 hint! Getting 35-38fps in battle at 1280x1024 with 8xFSAA!!!!!

Sonic Adventure runs too fast here, even at 8xAA 8xAF 1280x1024.

Sadly high jpeg compression makes these shots not nice, but heh, sweet to play with my PSOne controller

I know we have alot of Soul Calibur shots.. but these just looked too good for me not to post them.. I wish I had Fivefeet8's speed though.

Oh and for the non-believers, the beta 61.xx forcewares increase fps in chankast by ALOT. my battle fps went from 25-30 to 32-40. Shweet.

4xS FSAA, 8xANISO QUALITY, 1024x768x32.
