The PS2 version really didn't look any better, and that'll run far worse on the PC if it even runs.....

Are you referring to an emulated PS2?

The real PS2 version IMO looks no better than hte DC version.
If and When it is emulated on the PC, the PS2 version will run worse than the DC version.

Yeah, it's smooth . But graphic on Ps2 version is worse than DC version, like Kane said.

I think you already know this , but Doa2 on Xbox is a big difference from Ps2 version cause Ps2 has Doa2 Hardcore, which is Limited Dc version, but the version on Xbox is Doa2 Ultimate (that's recently released). And there are many many improvement over the original game.

But I can't deny that Doa2 LE on Chankast look so good (when using high res /w FSAA).

IMO sometime it look even better than the Xbox version (Maybe it's just me who think this way but I can't stand jaggies, Luckily that it not so bad on TV)

Comparing these pics, despite the lower texture quality of Dc version, I think Dc version look really good. Chankast pics are resized to 700*xxx (near xbox native resolution).

But Kasumi in Doau looks way better than Dc version

I can't imagine what DoaU will look like when Xbox Emu is working perfectly like Dc

P.s. ChankastRules, if flexibility is what you want, DoaU is a must cause you will get more skin .... Opps i mean Flexibility ..... (even naked if NH is still on Mod Business )

Flexibility is really high in Swimsuit

I hope that my post doesn't count "Off Topic".

Most games on the PS2 look like they pre-date the Dreamcast in terms of graphics. It's rather sad when you think about it really. (Which is what makes it more sad when the Dreamcast actually outperforms the PS2 in graphics... which it frequently does.)

Edit: Oh yeah, YaY b00bies!

Like I've said 101 times, the PS2 is a powerful machine castrated by it's vRam and lackof texture compression. The DC could often deal with better textures, but hte PS2 can push a crap load of polys and has the whole programmable 3d pipeline with the VUs

oh, yeah..like, MGS3, a Dreamcast would have been able to run that sooo much better.

I played DOA3 for Xbox before seeing anything of DOA2 for DC. But when I saw DOA2, it made me feel sorry for Xbox for having DOA 2,5

But DOAU on the other hand looks pretty sweet

Nice screenshots btw CKEmu

@Samor: You should compare MGS1 DC to PS2, and tell me on which console it looks better

About DC: Too bad it wasn't given about 2 more years to see if it would be capable of showing more than Shenmue2, Doa2, Soul Calibur, SA2, MSR and F355 Challenge and REC:V show us.

Btw, can someone post some F355 pictures, it's one of the best looking DC games: Beautiful cars and 60FPS.

There was a topic with some screens somewhere here, although it's said that they're not from the final version... it's a little strange because some screens I've seen looks nice, but I have seen some screens that are not looking very nice too, I did some research and find out that some are acctually from the DOA 2 ultimate version.

I'd wait awhile before saying anything final for now , just so I won't give false information. Guess we'll see for real at E3.

I just got DOAU recently and it's great. The new maps are really cool. Especially the multi-tiered ones.
