So i used this great emu and i got this results ...
dead or alive 2 with powerstone 2 NTSC on the same cd...playable doa2 kind of slow 30fps powerstone 2 fully playable 45-50 fps, minor audio glitches

Soul Calibur PAL fully playable ,great game, between 41-46 fps, minor audio glitches

Still hope for some speed optimization though, because the emu is very CPU Dependant . you should have a 3,6 ghz intel or an athlon fx57 proc. to get a decent 45 fps on dead or alive 2 .
Don't get me wrong Chankast is the best next generation emu around and the only emu with decent speed and compatiblity ,
It's a remarcable piece of work done by the Chankast Team .

Thanks guys , always dreamed to see Dead or Alive 2 running on my pc

Just wonding...
With an AMD Athlon XP 2100+(~1.7 Ghz) and 512 RM, would Sonic Adventure 2 be even playable at all ?(in speed terms, I mean).

Also, I have an ATI Radeon 9200 SE.
Dunno if that's good enough for the graphics, but, I'm too lazy to check the minimum requeriments. >_>

Though you have 512 ram instead of 256 our family computer has, you CPU is a lot slower, graphics card is the same. I doubt it will be playable at decent speed, especially not since SA2 is a speed driven game.

What speed CPU should I have to make it work...decently, at least ?
2.5 GHZ ?
3 GHZ ?

Well seeing how you'd have to upgrade your computer to do that anyway, go straight for 3gHz+, investing in a CPU below 3ghz is wasted money nowadays because for little money you can buy a lot faster

Also, you can look at Luptatorul's tests and his framerate on games, and look at his system specs in his signature for an indication on how chankast runs. The problem is that speed varies a lot between games and that it is still far from optimized compatibility wise.

fatalitydeath: You signature is too big, please resize it to the size given here.

what the hell is LE?? that dead or alive 2 from Luptatorul is not supported here, because the game is 'echelon' (echelon=piracy) and ngemu doesn't support piracy

By simply knowing what you have bought, it is THAT easy The cover artwork is different you know.

@JkKdArK: There are a couple of versions of DOA2, and I think that on the internet the Japanese LE version is the most common one. LE stands for limited edition, this one has got a lot of extra costumes.

system specs
AXP 2500+ @ 2Ghz
1GB Ram
GeForce 6600GT 128MB
Chankast 0.25

Soul Calibur: gameplay is fine, although a bit slow sometimes (30-40FPS) but manageable. Some graphic glitches in character selection screen as well in the title screen. Crashes when played for a long time. Rumble feature works well.

Shenmue I: gameplay is also okay, FPS is about 20-30. some minor graphic glitches and slowdowns, havent played much though.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica: gameplay and graphics is also fine with minor glitches, although audio disappears when playing for a long time. framerate varies from 20FPS-40fps.
