Soul Calibur: works almost perfect some glitches in the intro, vs screens, gallery/endings (U want to fix it, just go to window mode click in other place than chankast window, than click on chankast again dunno why it's like that but it works) some gfx glitches when camera is moving (from the ground camera rotation), emu sometimes hangs in battle theater and some of characters embu, I think it's all for now, maybe will find something more, oh yes speed about 39 - 52/60 fps, without under or overclocking ![]() More to come... |

Looney Tunes Space race works except theres textures missing on all the characters and their vehicles and the framerate is like 20 no matter what i do. Jet set radio works perfect cept when a lot of stuff is on screen it slows down below 30fps. othey than that its perfecxt, no texture corruption and all sound works. just the framerate. |

Dance Dance Revolution 2nd Mix is a no go so far....
This game runs fine on my real DC, but 0.25 can't make it past the Intro Screens, just for those interested in knowing. Intro shots: And the end result is this screen, which it doesn't get past: Notice how the game only seems to be using about a quarter of the screen? Strange, but at least it does something. Dead Or Alive 2 Japanese Version doesn't get anything yet. The majority of my game collection does fully or near fully run. So I can't complain.

Hiya, I'm new at Dreamcast emus. Confidential Mission (PAL) is fully playable, big issues with sound though (Only music and VO can be heard) And small graphical issues (In the train section, you can see the trees... when you are inside the train and there is no windows to see any trees, per example. Does anybody knows if exists any Handgun for PC? |

Hi, I'm recently playing Shenmue on chankast. The speed is great (just some slowdowns here and there). But I've noticed something weird: Sometimes the main char is transparent. This really don't bother me at all, but I'm just curious: is this normal or its a problem on the emulation? (and yeah, I've never played this game on the real dreamcast!!!) BTW, I heard this game can be finished w/o problems, but what about Shenmue 2? Did anyone ever finished it?

Tried Sword of The Berserk. Working well, with only minor problems in speeds in some parts of the game. Graphics are good, with minor glitches, and some missed up sounds. Speech doesn't go along with the mouth movements. give it a 70% working And by the way, is there a way to fix the lagness in Soul calibur, coz maybe i am too fast pressing the buttons and slow responsive timefrom the game. Even pressing the + doesn't improve anything that much.

I've read that in order to get xx/60 frames to some games you have to increase the power of Dreamcast! How can i do this through the emulation? Edit:Ok,after searching the Screenshot thread i saw that you can overclock the CPU of the emulator with the +/- keys.In case someone doesn't know i don't delete this post

Rez (PAL @ 60hz) - Works well. Some visual glitches on the menu/text that scrolls while playing as well as some other edges of things on the bottom and right side of screen (area you need to see to play is flawless in apperance). Slow Down, cutting down to < 30 on many occassions, never hits > 50 on my 2.8ghz with a radeon 9700 pro. Finished first two missions, so I assume entire game works. Border Down (JAP) - Hardly any visual glitches (hard to tell if you hadn't seen it before on the DC, and even then still hard to spot). Runs exceptionally well, with minor slow down before new enemies enter screen and with lots of effects/bullets on screen (boss fights), first two finished, assume the rest works. Ikaruga (JAP) - Black borders on left & right are non existant, instead you can see the game outside of where you're supposed to see it. Runs < 40 fps (makes for an easier time ) a majority of the time, somewhere in 40's the rest. Looks visually good, like Border Down, really quite hard to tell the difference. visually (outside of hte bars of course).

Ecco the Dolphin, defender of hte unvierse (US) - Plays good, steady framerate until you hop out of the water then ti slows down. Not full frames but still very high (mid 50's). Visual problem with fog and water - water is missing objects unless you turn on Z Effects, but then the objects are too prominent. Also no 'fog' in the water, far off in the distance; can see the world being rendered as you get closer to objects .
