How do I set up my gamepad for this game?
I have a gamepad with a d-pad, 2 analog sticks and 4 buttons on the front, 4 shoulder buttons and two underneath triggers buttons.

I have never used a Dreamcast Gamepad and would like to get the closest match to what it would be like on the real thing.

If your controller is plugged in while you start chankast, it should detect a good configuration.

You never held the pad of your dreamcast, from where you should have dumped the bios and the game? Maybe needing a trip to the rules? ;*

Unfortunaley is doesn't.
The configuration is all over the place.

Does anyone know what attacks are suppossed to go where ie. high punch low punch. Does Dreamcast use a Super Nintendo Control setup X,Y,A,B Should I assign left and right triggers to my underneath buttons?

k, so A=Guard, B= Kick, Y=Vertical & X=Horizontal.

Would that be the same as a Dreamcast?

For SNES to DC The Buttons are simply swapped with X A being the lower row, and Y B being the higher row. Otherwise it's identical for face buttons.

Just look at a picture dreamcast controller to figure that out

google is your friend.
