Running Chankast On A Laptop ?!
Its the ultimate experince to be able to play your favorite game titles anywhere, at anytime. Since I travel often, having my laptop are one of my main items to have. I would just like to know will Chankast be compatible with laptops. I'm now installing Chankast so I'll be posting the results soon. Here are my specs...
HP ZE4400, Windows XP. Mobile Athlon XP 2200+ (1.8ghz) 512 MB ram, Radeon IGP 320m 64mb, & 30 gig HD. So will it run ? Will see.....

It runs, IT Runs !!
Just steup Chankast on my system, and its running pretty smooth. I had some issues at first (Chankast didn't boot up), but it was fixed by updating my drivers. So I pop in a dreamcast disc, and ran the game. The bios started up and ran at a steady 60 FPS. The first game I played was Power Stone 2, and it ran between 40-30 FPS (not to bad). The next game I tried was Jet Set Radio, which ran at 15-25 FPS. The game I tried was Marvel Vs Capcom 2, which ran 40-50 FPS (nice). This is really impressive 4 the first version of this awesome emu. I can only imagine the greatness of the next version. Hopefully they will fix the OS support, maybe add online support, make it more compatible with more computer systems, etc. Although for now this is amazing. LOL, I would of never thought a smooth working DC emu, would be released before a full working Saturn emu. Life...

Ok. Is the laptop any form of a computer? YES. Does chankast run on a computer? YES. The only question is, will my laptop be able to run it? Well, TRY IT OUT!
If you read the rules, we do not support burned copies of games so your topic is a lost cause. Dump it yourself, and wait for a new version. You will also want to try Alcohol 52% or 120% for your image needs. http://www.alcohol-software.com/ .

Ah yes, your illegal DC images. I don't understand the point of this thread. Of course Chankast will run on a laptop. As long as you have any machine with an x86 cpu, some RAM, and the Windows XP OS, Chankast will run.
