Problem with Soul Calibur

I have burn the game without a problem, but then when I try to start it in Chanka (when I press play), it just shows me the dreamcast logo, and throws me back in the main menu. I don't have no AV cable error, no io error. What's wrong???

Tell me: when you run Soul Calibur in Chankast, do you get graphical corruption on the versus screens? What videocard do you have?

That's why you dump your own bios like you are supposed to. I dumped mine and never had any problems.

Speaking of BIOS, is the Dreamcast logo supposed to be blue in Chankast, or do I just have a bad BIOS dump?

That's the PAL or European version. The english and japanese (NTSC)versions have a red swirl.

If you dump your FlashRom the swirl will be your region's color. Unfortunately when i dumped my flashrom, it would always ask for the time, twice, and it wouldn't start up any games, just reset. That may suggest that the flashrom that people download is hacked somehow.

You have to Hex edit your ISO to enable VGA box support.

He used a double negative(a no no in english )
what he was trying to say is that he DOES NOT have those errors he listed
(IO and AV cable)
In any case he already got it working again so mods feel free to close this thread

Battery bios is not supported by chanka YET. That is why it keeps asking you for the time.
