Sonic Adventure 2 Workaround
Don't know if anyone's posted this yet or not, but here it goes:
If you can get to the end of the first level of Sonic Adventure 2 but your game crashes after you beat the first boss and you wanna play more levels, I found a solution. Go to GameFAQs and download a VMU save file for Sonic Adventure 2. Use VMSbrowser to import it into your vms.bin file... and remember to save the vms.bin. Then go into Sonic Adventure 2 using the emulator and you should be able to pick any level in the stage select mode. Have fun! |

Yup thats the method I used to get all the characters in MvC2 w/o it crashing. But it doesn't work well for games like RE:CV b/c it crashes everywhere.

It works OK with Sonic Adventure 2. The only real drawback is that you can only play one level at a time (It crashes usually for me when I try to load the second one.)
But, some of the levels really show off the prowess of this emulator. Final Rush has just about 0 graphical glitches and runs at about 40 fps most of the time on my Athlon XP 1600+ (overclocked to 1570~ish) and Radeon 9200. It's really a sight to be seen. Excellent work, Chanka team! |
