Wish List?

Are the developers taking requests? 8)

I'd like to see a hard-coded "force VGA" option. This way we don't need to play with bin files, and if original discs ever become an option, I don't have to do anything extra to make them work. I have a bunch of original games and I know some of them aren't VGA friendly.

Full-screen is a given.

For window mode, aspect ratio control. Right now I can freely make the window long or wide, I'd like to be able to lock an aspect ratio and have the window resize accordingly.

That's it for me.

I think you are a bit too harsh. Even if you are right about one thing, you get tired reading thread after thread with "wishlists". However, that's not an excuse for being a prick. It's always better to be nice and informative instead of starting flames.

Yes, maybe he should cool down for a bit, but he's not demanding (more like dreaming of) features not available.

Remember, n00bs are not bad for the community, pirates and as-*****s are. Once you and me started as n00bs aswell.

[edit:] oooh, seems I can't write as-*****s on the forum ... How family friendly *lol*

Well said. I usually don't answere any kind of thread that contains lamer, n00b or things like it. Mostly because I'm lazy, and I spell like a dead fish. However, sometimes I do because I never liked elite-attitude back in the old days (talking c64 here ), and I sure as hell don't like it now. I've been around long enough to know that todays n00b is tomorrows emu-author, and what many people think is impossible just needs more work.

And after all, it is not hard to NOT call ppl names.

Anyway. Good work chanka-team. I never been so impressed by a first release of an emu (that includes UltraHLE). Also good luck Cyrus, your emu is the most impressive I have not seen (yes I'm a dreamcast whore for life)

Making requests is pointless, i imagine the chankast team want the same as us, a fully working DC emu that every game works on.

Everything will eventually get implamented to VGA box games and analogue ones will all work, they will do what they can do, it will just take time

be patient and wait

True, true.... Guess I just woke up on the wrong side today.

My point was only that we should keep the forum nice and friendly. But as you said, this thread and all request threads alike are (at least for now) totally pointless. Thread should be closed.

Doesn't matter if he has 1000 posts, he's a n00b in my book
its not the number of posts but the quality that counts
anyone could give 200 requests for roms/bios and think they are cool cause they have 200 posts. post count doesnt mean ****
He had an arrogant tone in his post.
"Full-screen is a given."
again I ask: Who the bleeding **** does he think he is?!?! he has no skill and he couldnt't even begin to imagine the amount of work its gonna take to get gd-roms working in CD-roms drives or if its even possible. His wishing is stupid and doesnt do anything to encourage the authors who worked so hard to make an emu of this quality.
Ive seen screenshots showing almost 100 fps and this emu in its ALPHA state is simply amazing...
in all his stupid "requests" did you ONCE, just ONCE say please?
No, he ****ing didn't.
"Full-screen is a given." is a given is his thanks to the emu authors and that pisses me off
So until he learns to respect authors and be patient he will always be a n00b, a C***, and a C***Face to me...

Well, manboy, you should have just said that nicely, flaming is against the rules so please refrain from doing that. See this as a warning.
