Compatibility differences.
Seems there are some differences with the compatibility people are reporting. Here are some reasons:
1) If the emu gives an A/V cable error, it means it's not a vga compatible game. For DC you can get a VGA box that plays games on a monitor at 640x480; this is exactly how chankast operates as well: Chankast only runs vga compatible games. Maybe some games can be fixed to work, but I'm not knowledgeable on that. 2) I/O errors. I think these are related to patching a game. Many PAL DC users will patch backups to run at 60hz. It seems that this can cause I/O errors. 3) Random crashes. Some games seem to crash at random spots, or just after the emu has been running for a while. Then there are also "mmu errors". I don't know yet what is causing these. Last edited by Samor; May 31st, 2004 at 16:17. |

I thought the MMU errors were just indicating it hit some instruction the emulator doesn't know (yet).
My only compatibility whine is the control setup makes no sense. But I'm not going to push the issue.
