Chanka won't load

I have an Athlon XP 2000+,
GeForce 4 MMX 440 and lots of RAM and the Control Configuration Screen just won't show up, and every time I try to run a game, the emulator just disappears. Anybody with the same problems or solution?

Thanx

Which operating system have u got?
How are you loading the games... are they mounted via daemon tools etc or backup cd?
Have you got the latest Nvidia drivers for your gfx card?
You have the dc_bios.bin and dc_flash.bin files?

Windows XP, DirectX 9.0b, Daemon Tools, everything as it should be, that's why I don't understand that it is not working. Bios is also there. Really strange.

I had a similar problem when trying to run a game, the emulator would disappear... I think i fixed this by going to my display properties for gfx card (also a GF4 MX440) and clicked update driver, windows xp updated it, i reboot and it works OK.
