If you want to run a nonselfbootable game just insert first bootdisk like in console and then put cd with game.

Utopia does boot, and it started loading my SoulCalibur, but while loading it hung... But you can try it with other games.

i believe they said that bootdisks will not work, meaning your games must be self bootable...

Well boot discs itself works(meaning it will load) but it will just hang after you mount the actual game iso. I have tried Utopia 1.3 and 1.5 and both of them hang after I mount the actual game.

Hello, I'm new in here, so sorry for my stupid question!

I downloaded the chanka emulator, and try to run the Street fighter alpha 3. I burned the cdi image, then try to run it with Chanka, but all I get when i press play is: insert cd (or something like that), My question is: do I need a boot disc (and where to get it, and what it is).

Please help

Or, could somebody just tell me the procedure, how to get to work a dc game with Chanka (I have soul calibur image (nrg))

i've been triing sonic2 and everything works great, the intro, menu, sound. but when it goes ingame (no matter which story mode you choose) there is only an onecolor screen to see (altough in dark story sometimes some totaly screwed textures appear) - i can't see nothing but the game seems to continue, couse there is still sound.

i'm running the game from an selfbootable *.cdi monted to a virtual drive with alcohol120%.

any ideas what might be wrong? or someone else geting the same issue?

Dont ask where to get it from , you are on your own.

The utopia boot disc (should it even be discussed here?) will not work, there's some bug preventing it. Normal disc swapping should however work.

I tried the utopia boot disc, I mout it, then start Chanka, press init, press play, and the chanka rebootes (shows the dreamcast logo). I mounted the utopia boot disk, with deamon tools.
Somebody said, that you have to mount utopial boot disk, press play, and than mount the game image. I tried that, but as you can see, with no luck.
