It not only sounds really stupid, it's also in the wrong thread....
Maybe reading other topics about booting the games will help you, if not: Don't be afraid to create a new topic about it and ask. If you ever create a topic don't name it: "this might sound like a stupid question" cause we already have two of those

Let me help you out this time: Do you have the BIOS? If so, just open the menu of Chankast, and click 'init' or something like that, this will load the BIOS, from here you can insert a disc and have fun.
Good luck

I know this is off topic but I find it incredible that there's only 50+ posts in this thread and there's over 2000 views. This thread must be going around the Internet.

Here are some screenshots I've taken from a few games. Most of them run amazingly well. I wonder what type of Hardware Accellerated renderer is chankast using? It seems all the games run in windowed mode 640x480. Would be nice if you could enable higher resolutions and full screen.

All games were run in 4xSFSAA/8xAF -quality. You can tell supersampling is being used in the screenshots. Seems to add a slight blur to the graphics which actually is a good thing. Also it seems Bilinear filtering is being applied albeit a little messed up in it's implementation.
