Ok woah... the bios loads real quick.
Seems Chanka will only load GD-Roms?!
I tried mounting a CDI image and loading it through Chanka device chooser thing... keeps taking me to audio cd menu. Tried putting one of my backups via cd drive but still no cigar... i'll keep trying

Yes, and the fps is on the bottom left corner... i think it was around 26fps or so... As you've probably heard already, this emu is indeed fast, and has sound to boot .

I'm really curious if it will run on my AthlonXP 2600+, 256 DDR RAM, Radeon 9200SE system.... Well I don't care, to me it's sport, but my brother does, since I'm the one who owns the real DC.

I think it will run well on your PC. With my specs, I can get 47 fps in BIOS and 39-44 in game (well, those games mostly use 2D graphics . I want to test Shenmue, but I forget where I put that game ).

proper Dreamcast CDs do NOT work on a pc drive (yet) you will have to use an image file on your pc mounted to a virtual drive.

its a bit of a pain in the rectum, decide on what key you wanna assign say button A assigned to key A, find it, double click on it and then select it from the drop down list on the left, do that with all the keys for at least pad 1 lol.

btw, friend and me have composed a chanka compatability list on the link below.

OK solved my problem!

Windows 2000 is not supported, as is win 98, 95 etc...

Only Windows XP or 2003 will work correctly with Chanka.

I shall have to refer back to my dual boot, dammit
i be back later with screen shots

you got it working? most people including myself have reported it not working because disc swapping doesnt seem to work, not with Alcohol 120% virtual drive anyway.

It's not like "disc swapping doesn't seem to work" they didn't implement it for this release. Read post #7 of the first page of this thread for a bit more of details...
