Game load resets the emu

I am new here so bare with me.

When I run the emu it brings me to the screen to set the time (has me do this 2x in a row). I do this, it then brings me to the screen to click launch game. I do that and then it goes to a black screen. Last it starts back at the DC symbol loading.. ect..

I am sure I have files in the right spots. I tried two games same thing. One being Soul Calibur.

1- Update your GFX card drivers.
2- Make sure your game dumps are working correctly else re-sump.
3- Use Utopia Boot utility (for non-self-boot games).
4- Check the game compatibility list for .... well compatibility

5- If every thing fails, try re-downloading every thing, than start again, or use another emulator (nullDC as a suggestion).
