View Full Version : chrono cross sound problems not from speed 2 fast

i have a creative sound blaster live. in the game i use the epsxe plugin but the footsteps sound horrible. i try and use petes but then i get an echo. and on nulls it's movie sound and walking sound sound horrible. how do i fix that?
my other system specs are
p4 1.8 ghz
GeForce 3 3d card
512 MB ram
and i'm playing the game as an iso

Try Eternal SPU. I played CC with it, and it sounds great!

Eternal works great and I'd recommend staying away from null2's since it is known to have locking problems.

hum i've never used eternal....always use petes dsound....should i swicth?

Eternal has generally been better, but the latest DSound plugin seems to be about the same level (at least in the one game I've tried it in so far). I know that's using inductive reasoning, but oh well. If a game works best for you with Pete's DSound SPU, keep using it. If it works best with Eternal, use it.
