Load Problems w/ vib ribbon PAL

So I got the Vib Ribbon PAL img files, and my copy of pSX 1.11, but when I try to pick "HOW TO PLAY" or "PLAY", the game gets to the loading screen and locks up. Does anybody know what the problem is here?

Try pSX version 1.13 for starters, zackhoagie.

However, Vib Ribbon is supposed to work in pSX - with minor glitches, but playable. What BIOS are you using and how did you rip your images?

SCPH1001, and I don't know if there is some rule against files, but I found the images on a files site.

That link is to illegal files, you really need to remove it.. and btw they wont help people here who pirate stuff (just a heads up) ...

I actually do have Vib Ribbon at my house, I just used the files because I wanted to.

As Sceptor said, we don't support piracy, read the rules.

Besides if you already have the game you can easily make an ISO (http://forums.ngemu.com/misc-psx-discussion/34515-how-make-perfect-backup-psx-games.html) out of it.

Quite apart from the fact that downloading games is illegal, zackhoagie, there's another reason why forums wouldn't support game problems with downloaded games even if they were legal.

That's that the the images you download are frequently faulty - very often, this is the reason for the problems you get, not any problem with the game itself or the emulator. Since compatibility reports on this game suggest that it plays fine, although with a few glitches, the inescapable conclusion is that you have a faulty game. Surprise!

And, no, the fact that you own the game doesn't make downloading it legal. Nor is it legal, as a lot of sites claim, to download a game and try it for 24 hours. Downloading games is illegal - full stop.
