Two possibly unrelated problems, here. First is around running a PS2 Disc from my DVD drive, where the program will crash instantly. No errors, no output, nothing. Second is very odd. When I emulate Resident Evil (PS1) on the PS2, the program goes to the BIOS Browser and, when the 'Playstation Disc' is selected, it heads back to the browser and continues on in an infinite loop if you keep selecting it. Here's my set-up...

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3600+
2GB RAM
nVidia GeForce 7600GT with 64MB VRAM

Graphics - GSdx9 0.11.3
Sound - ZeroSPU2 0.4.4
CD/DVD ROM - P.E.Op.S. CDVD (CDDA mod) 1.3.0 OR Linuzappz ISO CDVD 0.7.0

Wich settings were you using then ?

Second problem: PCSX2 is *supposed* to emulate the PS2, not the PS1 stuff in the real console

Yeah, it was to be a sort of test to see if it'd work. The BIOS does, at least, but not sure about the emulation...

For running from the disc? The defaults, but tested each in turn when it didn't work. Still had the same effect of crashing.
