problem playing Brain Age

The game seems to work fine on other emulators. But when I try to use iDeaS, it starts up, but then has an error when it gets to the menu screen (The one with Quick Play, Daily Training, Sudoku, and Download).

This occurs with both versions 1.0.1.8 and 1.0.1.9 beta.
I haven't changed any settings from how they are when you first download the emulator.
My OS is WinXP, if that has any effect on it.

Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

have u checked all the save types and options yet?

Upon further testing, it has similar errors with other games as well. However, under the same conditions on another computer, it seems to work just fine.

So the only possibility is some sort of incompatibility between the first computer and iDeaS. I suppose I'll play around with the computer's settings and see what one computer is doing that the other isn't.
