hey guys, im planning to buy a laptop. can you help me decide between this two processors? thanks in advance.

amd turion 64 mk-36
ati xpress 1100
pc2:
celeron m 530sr
intel x3100
anyone?

What's your primary usage of the laptop?

celeron m 530's is based on the Core 2 Duo range with 1 core and half the cache disabled, they are really good for their price, don't like the 'celeron' tag cloud your judgment with them, there rather good.

If it's mainly for school/work use, the Celeron would be ideal. You'd get a good battery life from it. Not to mention you get a slightly better GPU too ;).
