All Pro Football 2k8 [X360/PS3]

About:
All Pro Football 2k8 is 2k Sports continuation of the NFL 2K games... without the NFL. They made it so you create a team of old NFL Legends. I don't like how you only get to pick 11 legends per team however.

System Tested on:
Xbox 360, both at Standard Def on my TV, and HD on a friends TV.

Gameplay (7/10)
I think the gameplay is actually pretty good... However, it is EXACTALLY like ESPN NFL 2k5. Which makes it kind of pointless considering it's just 2k5..without the NFL teams.

Gold recievers drop the easiest passes, I mean, come on, they are supposed to be LEGENDS!

Also, the team names and jerseys and such are cheesy as hell.

Graphics (5/10)
I don't think it is much of an improvement over NFL 2k5. In comparison to Madden, the graphics are terrible!

On a standard def tv, some of the far left play in the playcalling screen get cut off.

Sound (7/10)
The sound is ok.... the hits sound pretty real.... but sometimes the little hits sound way too powerful.
And the music is AWFUL!

Replay Value (7/10)
It has ok replay value. Its a sports game and no 2 games are ever the same. The lack of offline modes are dissapointing, but the online mode is okay.

Overall (6.5/10)
It's not really any better than 2k5. I wouldn't blow $60 on this game if I were you. Personally, I would download updated rosters for 2k5.

Sorry to say this, but as a review it's pretty much worthless. There's no information about the game, no depth or even en explanation of what you can do in this game.

Please give examples of game modes, where the graphics fail (textures, lighting, animations to name a few), controls, interface. And how does it compare to other franchises of the same sports, what are the similarities and differences?

I really enjoy reading reviews such as those by Emwarez, perhaps you could look them up and see in what ways you can improve yours?

Don't take it the wrong way, it's good to know this game can be skipped, but for those unfamiliar with the games and series it would be interesting to read some more. I just hope a little bit of criticism can improve your review skills :)
