I use Pete's OpenGL GPU (1.55 now, 1.54 when I last played FF9) and I play FF9 PAL UK. If I had set "FPS Limit (10-200) : 50 FPS or Auto detect" The game and music would run slower than what it does on my brother's PS2. Yet, if I set it to 60 FPS it runs the same as the PS2. Yet, I'm limited to run the game at a maximum of 60 FPS. Also, isn't the PAL game supposed to run at 50 FPS? If it's possible, could I be informed of what other gamers have the Framerate frame options set as?

Show FPS display on start up = Off
Use FPS limit = On
Use Frama Skipping = Off
Auto-detect FPS/Frame skipping limit = Off
FPS limit (10-200) : = 60 FPS

Ofcourse the last time I had played FF9 was when I had:
AOpen AX6B
Intel Pentium III 500mhz
448mb SDRAM DIMM PC100

Instead of my newer system.

This is a known issue with the UK PAL patch. The NTSC/PAL selector doesn't really work properly so you have to set the speed to 60 as you quite rightly said.
