Erm....pointer codes are a little more complicated than that....remember you first need to correct the pointer address in renegade64 and that Hiei explained quite well.

the map mod crash my renegade..

guess its pointer too.. or something else.. i wasnt able to set the right pointer adress so only those 4,8,16 bit codes work for me.. (those who start with 0,1,2)

but map mod was crashing...

Hiei-YYH
June 23rd, 2007, 22:35
those which start with 0,1 and 2 you can use directly in no$gba, but change the code type first, look at the other topic i already explained how to do that.

Ok guys, for you that can't pass the "Sun Door" in Zelda Because you need close the NDS use this code:

Teleport To Hourglass Dungeon Area 9
D21B205E 00000008
121B205E 00000009

When you enter in THAT room , this code and it will teleport you to the next room without the need to pass that event.
Note: Just use this code in the Hourglass dungeon.

Of course you'll need the Sun Key (that you get in that Green Dot that you can't go) to reach in the next dungeon:

Have Sun Key
021B97F8 00000047

Note: Just use that code when you're in that part (Before the 3rd Dungeon), then disable.

Now just go to the 3rd dungeon.

I'm having problems getting this to work on my m3 simply ds too. I've tried following the instructions a few time with no success. Do you know the md5 hash for the firmware file and also rom 0005, the game I'm trying to test with.

Chris21

There is no need to use the cheat for crossing the puzzle in zelda, u can close the lid of ds by minimizing it in 2.6a and open the lid by maximizing it!

and dont revive old threads for useless reasons!

The file hasn't been updated for a year. I suggest you just input your action replay codes directly into the latest free No$gba, No$gba 2.6.

Besides, don't use renegade64. That program is for No$gba 2.4a, which was already old.

Yep, just hit F2. You can also use other programs like ArtMoney to search and modify values.

ok i'm sorry for this in advance this is probably really annoying but will this code ever work?

B0000004 00000000

D2000000 00000000

I've tried to add it directly in the game and i get the little question mark bull****, and i downloaded Renegade 64 and followed your steps but it also dosn't work... :(

Hiei-YYH
October 12th, 2008, 02:59
did you pressed L+R? there's no need to use renegade anymore anyway, nogba already supports all ar and cb codes

D558
October 13th, 2008, 06:14
yea i pressed the two buttons (at the same time) that were assigned for L+R but I guess it might be a bad code or something even though I have found it in several places....

Ulgh all I want is an eevee in pokemon Diamond w/o having to beat the elite 4, get the national dex catch it just to have nothing to do with it (b/c the game is already beat...)

You bumped this thread for this question un-related (I believe)?
Then, you should read the rules (these are in my signature).

SCHUMI_4EVER
August 1st, 2009, 14:44
No it is related however it's no longer required. These days no$gba supports most codes fine without the use of additional tools, only Pokemon games still give problems but there it's best to use PokeSav.

By the looks of it, you try to use an incomplete code. What game and cheat are you trying to use?
And Don't Start Every Word With A Capital Letter. It's Just Annoying.
